This weekend's third annual Melbourne Independent Film Festival is raising money for a great cause - Unconditional Love Inc., a Brevard County patient care center for patients with HIV and AIDS. The two-day festival begins at 8 p.m. Friday with "Creature Feature" night at the Metro Cinema at State Road 192 and Wickham Road. A $5 donation is requested. "Saturday promises a full day of decidedly offbeat and independent films beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Henegar Center for the Arts in downtown Melbourne," said organizer and area dermatologist Dr. Terry Cronin. An exclusive VIP screening party follows later that evening at the Henegar Center with entertainment featuring master magician Scott Barhold and recording artists "Robin & Eddy - Masters of Love." Tickets are $30. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Henegar Center or by calling 723-8698.
